What Color Is This Drink?!

It’s Thursday and I’m thirsty. Let’s get into it.

Kristin hosts a linkup every week called #ThurstyThursday and I usually browse the linkup every week because some of these drink recipes people come up with? Ridiculously amazing. So I’ve been prepping this drink recipe all week in preparation for today, because I hate being left out of fun things! FOMO.

The Backstory:

Remember last week and the dress that broke the internet? Buzzfeed posted an article called “What Colors Are This Dress” and shit hit the fan. Blue/Black vs. White/Gold. The world divided.

The Drink:

Drink_Recipe_01 1 shot Kinky Blue
1 shot Whipped Cream Vodka
Gold Sprinkles
Blue Food coloring (not pictured and optional)

Drink_Recipe_02 Rim your glass with your gold sprinkles using a little bit of water and a plate full of said sprinkles.

Drink_Recipe_03Drink_Recipe_04 Add the Kinky Blue and Whipped Cream Vodka and mix together. Then top your glass with champagne.

Drink_Recipe_05 This is the part where you get irritated because your blue drink has now turned a greenish color and the dress, aka your inspiration for this damn drink, was definitely not green. So you throw a tiny temper tantrum in your kitchen, then get blue food coloring and make sure that drink turns itself back to blue.

What color is the drink? What color is the dress?
Who cares, you’re drunk!
A world divided, now united.

I was firmly on team White/Gold until I took my own screenshot of the photo and all of a sudden it was Black/Blue. Dark magic. Voldy is alive and schemin’.
Also, find more (and probably better) drink recipes on Kristin’s blog today and every Thursday!

Hopelessly Ever After
